This warning was originally initiated by Dr. KRT. Radjiman Widyodiningrat chairing the BPUPKI meeting on 29 May 1945 and it was only ratified on 29 May 1996 in Semarang.

The purpose of this warning is to appreciate and give special attention to the elderly in Indonesia.

The Ministry of Social Affairs held an agenda for this year’s celebration in Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra.

The celebration was directly attended by Tri Rismahari as the Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

The government is making efforts by commemorating Elderly Day for the elderly throughout Indonesia to ensure their safety and well-being.

For this reason, various efforts have been made, such as by providing elderly service centers in various regions.
