WWE Inc. developed the WWE app for all of the WWE fans that want their favorite wrestling news and information to be accessible on the go. The WWE app makes the latest updates in the realm of wrestling available to its users.

Design (4/5)

The WWE app follows the black, red, and white color scheme typical to the WWE logo in its layout. The app is easy to scroll through and browse through, which makes it usable by all. The main page displays all of the latest news in the wrestling world and also provides a slider option to check out the WWE network.

The arrow on the top left corner of the main screen opens a menu that contains tags that direct users to other pages like Raw, SmackDown Live, Superstars, Events, and lastly, the WWE Shop.

The top right corner of the main screen offer options to read about the app, the WWE network, terms and conditions, WWE’s privacy policy, and other options, and the settings tag allows users to view their account and adjust their notifications, parental control, and more.

Content & Features (4/5)

The content displayed on the WWE app is categorized into photo series, videos, and news articles by icons on the top left of every photo.

The WWE Network page contains schedules, shows, collections, pay-per-view, and recommended content. Some of the features of the app involve the use of push notifications to keep the app’s users updated with every new piece of information on the app.

Accessing the Superstars tag leads users to a page of champion wrestlers as well as a list of wrestlers in alphabetical order. Each listing is a tag to the latest news, photos, and videos about that wrestler, with another tag for more personal details and biography of the wrestler.

User Experience (5/5)

A multitude of the WWE app’s users have been extremely satisfied by its functioning, and the library of information allows them to access. Users are delighted to be able to watch videos from older years and access old photo sets and more.

Several users are also quite content with the minimal fee subscription that they can register themselves for to gain increased access to pay-per-view content.

However, some users have suffered from the app refusing to open or malfunctioning, which has only become worse with the latest app updates.

Devices (4/5)

The WWE app is available for free download on Android and Apple devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and even smart TVs.

Final Point

The WWE app has created a place for the vast WWE fan base to live out their favorite moments in WWE over and over again. The app has been an enormous success and has brought the newest and most popular wrestling news to the users’ fingertips.

In spite of its minor glitches, the app has created a stunningly positive impact on its user base and has maintained a level of high quality and expansive, inexhaustible content for users to read and watch.
