Review

The PlutoTV app enables users to stream TV shows and movies on their devices for free. It stores all sorts of watchable content that is unavailable in other content streaming applications and requires no subscription to be used.

Design (4/5)

Designed to operate quite like a TV set-top box, the PlutoTV app is simple to navigate around and browse through. Created with a sleek black and white color scheme, the app displays its content in categories that have been tagged by users. Different content is categorized by tags such as genre, availability on other apps, and whom you can watch it with.

Content & Features (4/5)

The PlutoTV app packs in a plethora of channels and movies that can be accessed for free. Unlike other apps of its kind, PlutoTV allows users to browse and stream content without requiring a subscription or membership.

Users are, however, encouraged to create an account in the app anyway.

Content is categorized and accessible to all users with access to the app. The app also ties in a casting feature, which empowers users to sync devices and play content across platforms.

Among the PlutoTV app’s content are TV channels for sports, news, cartoons, music, travel, food, technology, and other entertainment. The app also provides users the access to multiple movies, ranging from old to the latest releases.

User Experiences (4/5)

Most users have been extremely impressed by the content and features offered by the PlutoTV app. What augments the appeal of the app to these users is the fact that it is free and does not require a subscription or payment.

The content that is streamed on the app is of good quality, and the casting feature adds to its appeal. The only problem that the app suffers from is the abundance of advertisements; most that interrupt content while it is being streamed.

The content does not pause while advertisements are running, which makes the issue that much more bothersome to users. Other feedback received from user reviews involves the expansion of the channels and movies available on the app to encompass more genres and categories.

Devices (4/5)

The PlutoTV app is currently available on the Google Play Store for free download only on select Android devices. It is also available in the App Store for iOS devices.

Final Point

PlutoTV has successfully earned a place in the list of apps that are totally worth downloading. In spite of its limited availability around the globe, users with access to the app are impressed and delighted by its functions. The minor gripes that the app is ridden with can be omitted with updates.

Overall, the PlutoTV app makes for great content streaming and empowers users with the ability to browse through hundreds of TV channels to obtain entertainment from.
